DALLAS (PRWEB) October 03, 2016 -- Following a traumatic divorce, Patty Scott struggled to see how her life would ever be the same. However, it was not until she was able to reconcile with her ex-husband that she found relief.
The importance of gaining closure after a divorce is exactly what Scott aims to address in her novel, “The Porcelain Rose.” In her book, she details her personal experience with divorce through the eyes of Kira, who was able to move forward with her life after she learned the truth about her gay ex-husband.
According to Scott, she let her divorce negatively impact her life for several years. She could not forgive her ex-husband for the pain he caused her and this clouded her judgments and thoughts. Scott said she leaned on her faith in God to help guide her decision-making during this challenging time.
By sharing her story in a fictionalized account, Scott aims to help others who are dealing with divorce and remind them that God is always present in their life.
“From my personal experience, gaining closure was the final step that allowed me to move on with my life,” Scott said. “I wanted to share my experience with others because this had such an impact on my well-being.”
