A Fairway Mediation Center Launches Monthly Seminar Entitled Divorce Information Workshop: How to Divorce Without Regrets

The impact is worsened when the process drains even the healthiest bank accounts. Professionals at A Fairway Mediation Center know that there are ways to make divorce more affordable, but it requires a little know-how. That is why it is offering a monthly pre-divorce informational seminar entitled, Divorce Information Workshop: How to Divorce Without Regrets
The seminar, taught by divorce coach Laura McGee and A Fair Way Mediation Center's Rich Gordon, is designed to help couples learn the tips and tricks necessary to ending their marriage as affordable as possible. It is also intended for people not sure which to go or how to begin the divorce process in court.
The following statistics provide more than enough reason to consider attending the seminar.
• The average age of a person going through a divorce is 30 years old. Just as financial security is becoming a reality, divorce can set people back.
• The average divorce in San Diego County exceeds $20,000.00. For many people, this is 25 to 50% of their annual income!
• The divorce rate in 2013 was 3.6 per 1000, more than half the marriage rate for the year. Even if a couple’s marriage is built to last, chances are they know someone headed for divorce or already feeling the effects of the process.
A Fairway Mediation Center believes that an expensive divorce does not need to be everyone’s reality, so it wants to help every couple make their divorce affordable. Sessions will be held throughout San Diego County on the third Saturday of every month.
