CHICAGO (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- A bond between a mother and daughter is untouchable. Core’ Cotton and her mother, Dr. M. Jeanne Dolphus Cotton, found their unique bond growing even stronger when they decided to write a book together.
As Dr. Cotton recently reflected on her life, she was worried she did not leave a strong enough legacy for her daughter. Core’ then convinced her mother to co-write, “A Three-Hundred and Sixty Degree Perspective,” as a testament to their parallel journey and the true legacy Dr. Cotton left for all her children and generations to come.
Their new book has become more of a movement than anything, turning a mother/daughter memoir into a powerful way to compel people of all cultures to tell their stories to preserve their own legacies. Readers will easily find their own personal connection to the book and be inspired to find that deeper connection within their own families.
The authors said, “Through these collective stories, we all came to realize… that our hopes, dreams, conflicts, victories and passions are timeless; though times change from generation to generation, people at their root stay the same.”
