A Miracle is Coming to Riverside’s Main Street
Riverside, CA (PRWEB) December 14, 2013 -- Organized by ProAbition Whiskey & Kitchen lounge, which opened in March, “Miracle on Main Street” will be held on Sunday, December 15th. Area families in-need will be invited to take part in the event, which will feature photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, toys for the children, a bag of food for each family, as well as games for the children and more!
“Our favorite part of being in Downtown Riverside is our involvement with the community and making sure we do something every day to improve it. We hope to grow this into an annual event and help as many local youth as possible,” remarked Marco McGuire.
ProAbition is offering anyone who brings in a toy valued over $9 a free appetizer or dessert with their meal from Monday to Thursday from now until the event.
Numerous sponsors have already signed on to help back the event a success, including D Dogs, PrimeCare, A Better Way of Life, Bail Hotline, and Riverside Downtown Partnership. In addition, area nonprofits the American Heart Association and Riverside Community Health Foundation are supporting the event by providing volunteers and identifying families in-need to take part in the “Miracle on Main Street” event. Currently, event organizers are committed to provide toys for 100 children through this event, but they hope to do more. Any extra toys or money raised will be donated the Rubidoux Family Resource Center to help make the holiday season extra special for the clients they serve.
