A New Luxury Living Option Ready for Occupancy in White Bear Lake
White Bear Lake, MN (PRWEB) June 09, 2016 -- After months of watching the construction at the corner of Cedar Avenue and Highway 61 in White Bear Lake, the time has finally come to take a look inside The Waters of White Bear Lake.
Tours are now available for the independent living community near the Gem Lake and Lake Shore Neighborhoods. The official grand opening is scheduled for June 21, 2016 from 3:30pm-7:00pm.
“Our goal in every community we enter is to be relevant to people who have grown up in the community, maybe raised a family, and want to downsize later in life; but don’t want to leave the community they love. White Bear Lake is exactly that kind of community,” said Kyle Didier, President of The Waters, developer and owner of the new community.
Residents are scheduled to begin moving into the community, designed for those 55-years of age and up, on June 1st. When they arrive they will find people who are in the prime of their lives, and ready for a new adventure.
The Waters of White Bear Lake has replaced what used to be an old bowling alley, shuttered family restaurant, two single family homes and a used car lot on a 5-acre site at the Gateway to White Bear Lake. Anne Kane, who is Community Development Director for the City of White Bear Lake, says she couldn’t be more pleased with the redevelopment of the site.
“The Waters of White Bear Lake is a beautiful building that really delivers on our goals for the site. It brings the City a high quality redevelopment that will be managed long-term by an established and reputable operator, and it provides a viable opportunity for our current residents to downsize and remain in the community,” said Kane.
At The Waters of White Bear Lake, not only will residents have elegantly designed apartments,
but access to a myriad of amenities. There is a spa and salon, community room, three onsite restaurants, and a well-being studio with fitness equipment. Among the premiere offerings residents will have access to well-being programs developed in partnership with the University of Minnesota Center for Spirituality and Healing.
“This is luxury living at its best,” said Didier. “If I were living here I might get up in the morning and go for a run, come back and sit in the café and visit with neighbors, then with the rest of the day go golfing or off to play tennis. In the evening, I can come back and eat at one of the restaurants in the community, or go back upstairs and enjoy a home-cooked meal. My wife, meantime, may begin her day with an exercise class in the fitness center, then get a massage and once done, visit with her book club friends in the community room.”
The Waters of White Bear Lake offers many living options, from studios and 1-bedrooms to spacious 2-bedroom models. Floor plans range from 525 to 1,230 square feet. Each apartment has elegant 9-foot ceilings includes a kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, ample storage and closet space. Rent starts at $1,500 per month and includes gas, electric, water and trash, as well as access to community Wi-Fi and the onsite wellbeing studio.
The community has 106 independent living apartments ready for occupancy now. Thirty memory care units will become available for rent in about six-months.
