A Russian winter of Olympics on Sport.co.uk
(PRWEB UK) 18 December 2013 -- DSG have today announced that it will be offering full coverage of the Winter Olympics on its sport news site Sport.co.uk.
The 22nd Winter Games will be opening on the 6th of February in Sochi, a Russian city situated on the Black Sea coast near the border with Georgia. Not only will Russia’s largest resort city be hosting the Winter Olympics but also the Russian F1 Grand Prix of 2014 as well as being a host city for the 2018 World Cup. The venues look amazing, the Olympic torch has been walked in space, nothing short of spectacular will do for the Russians as they host the world. Sport.co.uk will be showing coverage of the Olympic events, a first for the site.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait, had this to say: “This is new ground for us and we will be looking to put our knowledge of other sport reporting to use as we tackle wintersports. Its going to be amazing and Russia have put together some truly jaw-dropping venues. Already 2014 is shaping up very nicely indeed for sports fans. I am personally looking forward to the Bobsleigh, Curling and Skeleton where Team GB has had a strong showing and will be good to see how we get on at this Olympics. We have some very knowledgeable correspondents who have told be to check out the Alpine skiing and Snowboarding which are going to be really special in Sochi.”
