A Season of Illumination With Yabu Pushelberg And LASVIT: Distinctive Design and Master Craftsmanship Culminate at The Upper House
HONG KONG (PRWEB) December 07, 2017 -- This festive season, The Upper House launches its much anticipated collaboration with world-renowned design firm, Yabu Pushelberg, and innovative glass manufacturer, LASVIT. Blending their creative prowess and commitment to quality craftsmanship, they present a stunning design and light experience with the creation of a bespoke Christmas tree, which was unveiled on November 21, 2017 at the hotel’s entrance.

The Upper House Christmas Tree
Now in its second year, The Upper House Christmas tree will take center stage as it captures the spirit of the season. Based on the Otto glassware and Cipher light collections launched earlier in the year between Yabu Pushelberg and LASVIT, the design represents a balance between heritage techniques, dramatic textures and contemporary forms. A warm and illuminated entrance will receive guests before they commence their upward journey through the House.

To kick-off the festivities, The Upper House hosted an Up Close with Yabu Pushelberg on November 21, 2017, moderated by Suzy Annetta, co-founder and editor-in-chief of Design Anthology magazine, followed by the Christmas tree unveiling and cocktails on The Lawn (by invitation only).
Festive Showcase
Beautifully presented by Hong Kong's leading home living and lifestyle store, colourliving, a showcase on Level 6 of the hotel will feature a selection of stemware from the Otto collection and lighting from the Cipher collection. The Upper House guests who book the Season of Illumination room package will receive a 20% discount on purchases, with gift wrapping and room delivery services.
The Otto collection of stemmed drinkware features solid, weighty bases, precisely etched texture and clear Bohemian crystal. The Cipher collection features slender cylindrical lights, hand-blown and hand-etched with champagne-gold polished brass, and when lit - create luminescent silhouettes.
Season of Illumination Room Package
From December 1, 2017 to February 28, 2018, settle into the warm and inviting surroundings of The Upper House and enjoy special room rates, generous cash credit and handcrafted gift items when booking the Season of Illumination room package and staying for two consecutive nights or more.
