A Svärd’s new self-help book helps readers perform personal overhauls
HUSKVARNA, Sweden (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- Until the age of 24, author A Svärd felt insecure, powerless and victimized. These feelings were a result of a traumatic childhood where sexual, physical and emotional abuse caused her to develop an eating disorder and self-esteem issues.
In her new motivational self-help book “From No Self-Esteem to Total Self-Empowerment!: How to Feel Good and Improve Your Life” (published by Balboa Press), Svärd shares the techniques she used as an adult to overcome her past and live an empowered life.
“I spent almost two decades of my life hating myself and feeling very insecure and powerless regarding all topics of my life,” Svärd says. “It was not until I began improving my thinking that things started to shift for me. She hopes that through her discussion of these topics, readers will learn to start loving themselves; stop feeling bad about food and their diets; obtain the relationships they desire; feel good and love again after infidelity and dishonesty; change a mindset from one of defeat to one of personal control; and stop playing victim to life and regain power over it.
“I want readers to feel that it doesn’t matter how many years of their lives they have felt bad about an important aspect of life; they can begin now to improve their thinking and therefore improve their lives,” Svärd says. “It is never too late and it is possible.”
