AAHOA Celebrates Reelection of Congressman Ami Bera
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- The Asian American Hotel Owners Association congratulates U.S. Rep. Ami Bera, D-Calif., on his official reelection to Congress after a lengthy vote count.
Bera has been declared the winner of the contested 7th congressional district House race, defeating former Congressman Doug Ose in the most expensive House of Representatives race in the country.
Congressman Bera is the first and only AAHOA member to serve in the United States Congress.
“At AAHOA, we have been closely watching this long election process, and we could not be happier with the outcome,” AAHOA Chairman Pratik Patel said. “We are proud to support Congressman Bera, and we look forward to working with him to strengthen the hospitality industry and the small business community.”
A top priority of AAHOA is to help elect leaders, who will boost the economy by supporting small business owners. Bera’s win caps off a successful election season for candidates who were backed by AAHOA. With more than 90 percent of AAHOA-supported candidates winning their races, the nation can expect a stronger Congress that will create jobs and opportunities.
Founded in 1989, AAHOA is the largest hotel owners association in the world, with more than 13,500 small business owner-members.
