ABnote Accepts ICMA Élan Awards for Design and Innovation
Fort Lee, New Jersey (PRWEB) April 30, 2015 -- ABnote (http://www.abnote.com), a leading global card manufacturer and provider of financial and secure credentialing solutions, announced today that it had received two Élan Awards at this year’s International Card Manufacturer’s Association Expo, receiving both the First Place (Best-in-Class) recognition in the ID and Access Control Cards category and as Finalist in the same category.
Submissions in the ID and Access Control Cards category are evaluated by a panel of judges for innovative use of security features, artistic beauty, difficulty, and originality. Both of ABnote's winning designs incorporated security features in the printing and other design elements of the card. The First Place Award recognized ABnote’s original design and execution of the Western Australia Driver’s License/ID Card, manufactured for the Government of Australia. The Finalist Award went to the Dominican Republic Voter and Non-Voter ID cards, which were designed for Junta Central Electoral of the Dominican Republic. Both products were designed, engineered, and produced by ABnote’s Boston, Massachusetts design and production team.
The Awards were presented at the ICMA 25th Anniversary EXPO Awards Dinner in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015. Bud Kronenberg, the CEO of ABnote Canada was on hand to receive the awards.
