Abraxas Expands Team and Locations as Market Continues to Grow
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) July 26, 2016 -- Abraxas Business Services, specialists in business brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, and exit strategy and succession planning, is pleased to announce continued expansion of services in South Carolina with the opening of an Abraxas office in Greenville. Jason Premo, a Greenville executive and venture capitalist, will direct operations covering Upstate S.C. In March 2016, the firm announced a Charleston office serving the state’s Low Country, led by Kirk McMillan, a former business owner and current Vistage Chairperson.
Also, the firm continues to expand its Atlanta presence with the addition of Kenneth Hoogs, an executive with deep financial and operations background who has provided financial advisory and operational consulting to venture-capital-funded companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, financial technology, security, medical device, biotech, nutrition, and energy.
“According to industry research, some four million small businesses are owned by retiring baby boomers. A significant portion of these will not be transferred to the next generation, but will be sold to employees, strategic investors or individual buyers,” said C. David Chambless, president of Abraxas. “We are excited to add Kirk, Jason and Ken as Principals of the firm to meet this growing demand, and look forward to expanding our reach into S.C. where small business owners and entrepreneurs are a vital component of the state’s economic success.”
Over the past 14 years, Abraxas’s expertise and proven methodologies have guided business owners in a broad range of industries to the closing table, completing transactions valued at more $100 million.
