The venue can seat more than 24,000 fans and is located on the Lansdowne Park fairgrounds. The venue is the home of the Canadian Football League’s Ottawa Redblacks, as well as the North American Soccer League’s Ottawa Fury FC. The venue has been home to numerous memorable events in its history here including five Grey Cup games, soccer matches during the 1976 Summer Olympics.
AC/DC will travel to Olympic Stadium on Monday, August 31st to perform live. This venue is located in Montreal and it was once home to the Montreal Expos before the team moved to Washington, D.C. The venue was built in 1976 to be the main building for the 1976 Summer Olympics. It began being used for baseball the following season and in the country of Canada, is known as having the largest seating capacity of any venue. Since the Expos left town, the venue has been used mostly as a multi-purpose stadium that including occasionally hosting the Montreal Impact from Major League Soccer.
