Access Florida Finance Corporation 5th Annual Business Plan Writing Contest Results
Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Access Florida Finance Corporation held the finals of its 5th Annual Business Plan Writing Contest Thursday morning at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach, FL, in conjunction with the National Black Chamber of Commerce’s annual convention. Statewide contestants presented their business plans in front of a judging panel, small business owners and students for prize money.
Janel Young and Nava Pets, an Orlando all-natural pet supply manufacturer, took home first place and $2,500. Cynthia Douglas and Cynthia’s Wigs, a Tallahassee premier wig boutique specializing in medically necessary wigs, got $1,500 and second place. Finally, Robyn Yant and One Call Property Preservation, a Tallahassee based property maintenance and management company, won $1,000 for third place.
Mark Scovera, President of Access Florida Finance said, “this Contest was special, not only did we have the greatest number of entries, but the feedback I received from the judges was the overall quality of the plans was top notch as well. My congratulations go out to all the entrants, as writing a quality Business Plan is extremely difficult.”
