Accident Involving Well Known Miami Chef
(PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- Jonathan Eismann was charged in the accident with vehicular homicide and recently released on bond. Eismann was driving along NEW 72nd Avenue after his involvement in an accident and struck a pedestrian near NW 3rd Street. Auto accident lawyers in Miami, including Michael Steinger, believe the accident is sure to lead to a lawsuit.
The accident occurred on October 10, 2012. Eismann turned himself in early on the morning of June 29, 2013 and arresting documents show chargers of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Police have yet to release information explaining what led to the arrest of Eismann, according to CBS Miami (6.30.13).
Jean Carlos Ruiz, father of a one-year-old daughter died. Friends of Ruiz said he was a very happy man always dancing and showing off his daughter.
According to Steinger, a personal injury attorney helping the families of victims wrongfully killed in auto accidents seek justice, this accident could lead to more than just the criminal charges filed against Eismann. A civil lawsuit will likely be filed by the family against Eismann.
"Whenever an accident involved wrongful death, a lawsuit is likely. It's clear Eismann is at fault and caused the death of Ruiz," said Steinger. "Cases involving wrongful death often lead to more than just criminal charges."
Steinger says wrongful death cases are an important part of seeking justice for victims. In this case, the family of Ruiz, including his one-year-old daughter can seek damages for his death.
