Accomplished Federal Trial Lawyer Amanda Shoffel Joins New York Boutique Litigation Firm Creizman LLC
New York, New York (PRWEB) December 19, 2016 -- Amanda Shoffel has left her position as Senior Counsel in the Special Federal Litigation Division of the New York Office of Corporation Counsel to join Creizman LLC, a New York City-based litigation firm that specializes in white collar criminal defense and complex commercial litigation. The firm's recent representative matters include high-profile representations in federal criminal securities fraud, bitcoin fraud, and health care fraud prosecutions, including several upcoming trials. Ms. Shoffel has tried over 40 cases to juries in multiple jurisdictions.
As Senior Counsel to the New York Office of Corporation Counsel, Ms. Shoffel represented the City and the NYPD in numerous civil actions in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In those matters, she handled all aspects of litigation, from the pleading stage through trial, as well as representing her clients in mediation sessions and settlement negotiations.
