Accountex Releases Updated Version of the Accounting Technology Ecosystem®
Portland, Maine (PRWEB) November 29, 2016 -- Accountex released an updated version of the Accounting Technology Ecosystem® concluding the highly successful 13th annual accounting technology conference and expo. The original ecosystem was released in February with the intent of being a living document that grows as technology changes. Additions are made quarterly based on submissions as well as changes in the product marketplace; there are now over 400 companies featured on the landscape.
Business accounting technology is an expansive marketplace that offers the solutions that are the backbone to operations. Kacee Johnson, one of the designers of the ecosystem, contributed two articles to the Accountex Blog that help explain how the ecosystem works and where it is headed in the future.

The Accounting Technology Ecosystem was the foundation of the User Favorite Awards which were announced at the 2016 conference. Thousands of users cast votes over a four month period choosing one solution from each category and ranking it on their favorability of the solution. A cumulative scoring system then determined the winner of each of the twenty-seven categories.
