Ace Technology Partners Reports NETCENTS 2, SEWP V Successes
CHICAGO (PRWEB) June 11, 2015 -- Ace Technology Partners, one of the most respected technology providers in the U.S., is reporting better than expected sales for NETCENTS 2 and SEWP V for the first 5 months of 2015. The 2 government/military contracts combined have a total potential value of over $44 billion.
With major orders for desktops, workstations, and servers, the company is on track to best the $22 million in NETCENTS sales last year, which was the first full year of the contract. Technology products that Ace Technology Partners is authorized to sell through NETCENTS 2 include servers, storage, networking equipment, peripherals, multimedia, software, and identity management/biometric hardware and software.
NETCENTS 2 provides federal agencies, including the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense, with a thoroughly vetted source for standardized networking equipment, supplies and related services. The total value of the 7-year NETCENTS 2 contract is more than $24 billion.
Ace Technology Partners also holds a SEWP V Group C contract—which is designated for resellers that are small businesses. Through SEWP V, Ace Technology Partners is authorized to provide technology products that include desktops, workstations and servers; and associated services including installation, training, maintenance, and warranty protection.
SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement), is an acquisition contract awarded by NASA, but used by all federal agencies, for technology products and services. The effective ordering period for this contract, worth a total of $20 billion, began May 1 and runs a total of 10 years; with a 5-year base period and a 5-year option period. SEWP V is the 5th iteration of the contract.
The elite group of contractors for both NETCENTS 2 and SEWP V were selected based on experience, a proven track record of working with the federal government, product quality, certification to ISO standards, and the capacity to fulfill large orders.
John Samborski, CEO of Ace Technology Partners, said, “We are just over one month into the official ordering period for SEWP V and are very encouraged by the volume of orders. If SEWP V follows the same pattern as NETCENTS 2, we expect that sales will continue to grow exponentially over the 10-year contract term.”
