Acer’s Newest Projectors for U.S. Customers Include One of the Smallest and One with Support for Amazon Alexa

Acer America announced its latest 4K UHD projectors are now available in the United States. With these new projectors, film fanatics can enjoy the excitement of spectacular home cinema displayed in sharp 120-inch 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution. The new models include the Acer V6810, one of the smallest and lightest 4K UHD projectors available and the Acer V6820i, which supports voice control via Amazon Alexa.

Acer V6810 – Small & Light 4K UHD Projector
Measuring just 13.5 x 10.2 x 4.9 inches and weighing just 8.82 lbs., the Acer V6810 is one of the smallest and lightest 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) projectors available today.(1) It delivers a bright 2,200 lumens, creating vivid picture quality. Leveraging an RGBRGB color wheel and Acer ColorPurity, the Acer V6810 produces a wide and accurate color gamut, enabling viewers to experience pure reds, rich greens and deep blues for amazingly realistic viewing.
Its built-in 10W speaker provides powerful sound, eliminating the need for external speakers, while two HDMI ports, RGB/Component Video and PC Audio provide excellent connectivity.
Using an optional wireless adapter, it can access the Internet and Cloud storage as well as project content, including photos, documents, movies and videos from smart devices.(3)
Acer V6820i – Hands-Free Control With Alexa Support
For the ultimate in ease and convenience, customers can control the Acer V6820i by using voice commands, after enabling the Acer Projector Smart Home skill on an electronic device like the Echo or compatible Acer PC.
This projector boasts integrated wireless connectivity and a bright 2,400 lumens to clearly see images from a distance indoors. HDMI 3D(2) delivers the thrill of immersive 3D video from the comfort of home using a PC, laptop or Blu-ray Disc™ player and DLP® Link™ 3D glasses.
Boasting AcuMotion, a frame interpolation system that eliminates motion blur in fast-moving scenes, the Acer V6820i is ideal for watching sports and action movies. Outfitted with a USB port, users can enjoy multimedia content including photos and Microsoft Office documents, directly from USB drives. Dual HDMI 2.0 ports provide easy connectivity for high-quality HD broadcasts for entertainment and ensure compatibility with 4K UHD video sources for amazing clarity. In addition, two 5W speakers provide dynamic sound, providing depth to songs, movies and games. It can also operate at an extremely low noise level of 19dBA (silent mode), so even whispers can be heard in playback.
Both Projectors – Rec. 2020 Compatible
The Acer V6810 and Acer V6820i boast a high 10,000:1 Dynamic Black contrast ratio, resulting in brilliant images with darker blacks and whiter whites to bring out fine details. For superior color reproduction, they can read and translate Rec.2020 language into Rec.709, the high-definition TV standard that film directors adopted to digitally define the color identity during post-production. Thanks to meeting this standard, these projectors can reproduce the original colors and tones the film director intended, resulting in an authentic movie-viewing experience.
A top-loading lamp design makes it easy to replace the lamp module, even when the projector is ceiling mounted. Both projectors provide a long product lifespan of up to 15,000 hours in Extreme ECO mode.(4)
