Across Systems Very Pleased with 2013 Achievements
Karlsbad, Germany (PRWEB) January 24, 2014 -- In 2013, the manufacturer of a leading translation management system achieved important milestones such as the development of new functions and an even closer collaboration with language service providers.
"For us, 2013 was a year with many highlights. For example, we developed a comprehensive training and certification program for our language service providers and awarded the 'Across Certified' label to eight companies in recent months. The preparations for our upcoming software version, which we closely aligned with the specific needs of our customers, were another important step", says Niko Henschen, CEO of Across Systems GmbH. For a number of years, Across has cooperated with an advisory board comprising industrial customers from various industries for the purpose of introducing new functions. Last year, an LSP advisory board was established additionally in order to involve language service providers more intensively in the development. Thus, the improvements and new functions for the upcoming version 6 of the Across Language Server mainly result from genuine user needs.
Outlook for 2014
Apart from the release of Across v6, the new year will witness a new level of international presence. In 2014, Across will attend various events in Europe and the USA and will also hold special conferences and lectures for various target groups. The certification of language service providers will also move on. The first training weeks for 2014 are already booked up until March. The release of the new version will be accompanied by a range of refresher courses.
