ACTCM Celebrates Chinese New Year
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 23, 2015 -- The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) is inviting everyone to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Sunday, March 1. ACTCM will be holding a celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to ring in the year of the sheep.
The event will be a holistic celebration featuring Chinese medicine. There will also be tons of exciting festivities, including Chinese lion dancers, who will perform at noon; complimentary massage and ear acupuncture treatments; holistic health talks; medicinal herb garden tours; sheep crafts and a sheep-themed photo booth; live music; free food and more!
The Chinese New Year is an important festival celebrated at the turn of the Chinese calendar. It is a centuries-old tradition and is also known around the world as the Lunar New Year. This year, the Chinese New Year officially began on Thursday, Feb. 19.
All the festivities for ACTCM’s Chinese New Year celebration will take place in the ACTCM Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic parking lot. The clinic is located at 450 Connecticut, San Francisco, CA 94107. The clinic, founded in 1981, is a community-oriented teaching clinic. They provide effective and affordable treatment for a variety of diseases and conditions using acupuncture, herbs and other healing methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
