Action, adventure book traces origin of mythological gods

Inspired by the theory of the Nephilim, author Steven Reider pens a compelling tale of discovery, religion and romance in “Where Did All These Gods Come From?” (published by Balboa Press).
In the story, archaeologist Dr. Jake Steiner finds an artifact in an underground lab from World War II. It was found with a giant skeleton of a humanoid. Through a series of events, Jake discovers the origin of the gods of mythology, whether Greek, Roman or Norse, and the gods of Egypt. He also discovers the love of his life and uncovers a plot to create super soldiers by using the DNA of the skeleton of the Nephilim.
“In this story the Nephilim, the commanders of a third of heaven's armies who conspired with Lucifer in a failed coup attempt, tried to contaminate all that God had created by altering their DNA. Many millenia later mankind is attempting to do the same thing through genetic manipulation. We shouldn't be doing Satan's work whether ignorantly or with full knowledge,” the author says.

About the Author
Sixty-year-old Steven Reider is a retired postal letter carrier for 34 years. Reider is currently a school bus driver for Klein Independent School District in Spring, a suburb in the northern part of Houston. He has been divorced since March 2007; he is still single. The author is the associate worship leader in his church, as well as the bass guitarist. His favorite hobby is to create and play music. Reider can play the mandolin, guitar and bass. He has gone on a mission trip to Marcala, Honduras, where his church has adopted an orphanage. Although Reider is still learning to speak Spanish, he has learned several songs in Spanish so that he can help lead worship when he is in Honduras. The author believes that learning is a lifelong experience.
