Active Data Appoints VP of Marketing and Community Engagement
Bethlehem, PA (PRWEB) August 27, 2015 -- Active Data, a global software company that builds event community platforms for education, healthcare, government and enterprise markets worldwide, is pleased to announce David Yanoshik, a seasoned sales and marketing veteran, has joined its executive management team. Yanoshik will serve as the company’s Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement.
David plays a critical role in communicating the benefits of Active Calendar’s event community platform to regional corporations and nonprofits. With years of experience in sales and marketing, he is responsible for implementing marketing processes and strategies that promote Active Data’s newest SaaS products, Active Calendar, at a local and national level. David’s team will also lead corporate branding and business development initiatives.

About David Yanoshik
Previously, Yanoshik was the Vice President of Marketing for The Express-Times and a group of daily and weekly newspapers in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, owned by Advance Publications. After 11 years at The Express-Times in Advertising and Marketing, David left his position as Vice President Sales and Marketing to take a VP position in the non-profit sector. He returned to the industry and his position as Vice President of Marketing for Penn Jersey Advance and Lehigh Valley Media Group in June of 2008. He was most recently part of the corporate Strategy and Training team.
A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Journalism, David has worked in the media industry his entire career; in sales at The Morning Call in Allentown, Pennsylvania and Sales Management at The Mercury in Pottstown, Pennsylvania prior to joining The Express-Times. He also served on the adjunct faculty of Cedar Crest College for several years teaching sales and marketing.

In 2015, he received the Weller Health Education Center’s Outstanding Friend to Kids Award.
