Adcope Athletic Club Redefines Fitness With A New General Manager
Lewiston, Idaho (PRWEB) January 21, 2015 -- Adcope Athletic Club announced the appointment of Nick Bacon as the new General Manager. An award-winning fitness enthusiast, Nick has a long personal and professional history working with athletic clubs in the Lewiston-Clarkston area. An avid swimmer, Nick was recognized in 2009 as the Idaho High School Coach of the Year. His professional background, coupled with his commitment to the community, made Nick the ideal candidate to help Adcope grow its fitness and wellness program.
Prior to joining Adcope, Nick served as the Executive Director for the Asotin County Public Facilities District and as the Director for the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center. He is graduate of Washington State University and is engrained in the community, having served in several volunteer positions including the Boy Scouts of America, Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce, Twin County United Way Board of Directors, Friends of the Park & Recreation and as a Firefighter/EMT for Aston County Fire District #1.
Adcope will redefine fitness by incorporating a total wellness approach to its business strategy. Focusing on every aspect of healthy living, Adcope will provide support for its members by offering services that promote fitness, strength building, healthy eating, relaxation and community as well as social engagement. “I believe that healthy living means many things to many people, and I am passionate about creating an experience that helps our members reach their goals. Fitness isn’t just about losing weight, it’s about adopting positive changes into everyday life” says Nick. His future goal for Adcope is to focus on growing the club’s presence not only through individual memberships, but also through programs that attract families and local corporations.
“The ownership and management are thrilled to have Nick Bacon join our team as the General Manager for the valley’s only full-service athletic club. We have invested in the club and are proud to offer amenities such as a full-sized indoor pool, weight training, Les Mills certified fitness instructors, locker rooms, saunas, childcare, massage and more. We know Nick is committed to the club and the community and we look forward to supporting his success” says Heidi Swinehart, Assistant General Manager at the Red Lion Lewiston.
