Adklip Launches New Native Video Ad Unit for Publishers

The inpage player is a customizable ad unit that blends with the existing theme of the publishers site. The most common placement is at the end of articles but it can also be placed within articles or within content teasers on their homepage. As a user scrolls down the page, the ad unit gives the user the option to continue to scroll for a sponsored video or to close the ad unit. Once the user continues to scroll, the pre-roll plays for 15 or 30 seconds then disappears. It's not seen again by that user for at least 24 hours.
Estimates from eMarketer indicate that US digital video ad spending will climb from $4.14 billion in 2013 to $8.04 billion in 2016. Fueling that growth are advertisers that are bundling TV ad spend with digital video to reach users in more interactive and innovative video ad formats. "Do they have certain ad units that are proprietary to them where the audience can choose multiple videos to watch? Will they allow us to put a skin around the video so it really looks like it’s our own content and that we actually own that page?” said Erica Bigley, digital media manager at Ford Motor Co. “All of the partners we work with do each one of those a little bit differently, so we know which one will work best for what we’re trying to push at that time.”
