Adolfson & Peterson Completes New Aquatics Facility in Frisco
Richardson, TX (PRWEB) November 21, 2014 -- Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P) recently completed a new aquatics center in Frisco, TX – at the junction of Cotton Gin Road and Legacy Drive. The aquatics center is a practical use facility designed to serve the aquatic needs of the Frisco community.
The new facility, named Texas Ford Aquatics, houses 2 pool areas: An Olympic-size 50 meter by 25 yard competition pool and a 4 lane by 25 yard (33'x75') warm water lessons pool. Additionally, there are public locker rooms and lesson viewing areas as well as a pro shop, multipurpose room and office space.
From swim lessons to water aerobics, competitive swimming to kayaking, Texas Ford Aquatics aims to be the center of the aquatic community in North Texas. This space will allow Texas Ford Aquatics to drastically expand the aquatic programming available in Frisco and the surrounding areas.
This is the first project that A&P and Texas Ford Aquatics have partnered to build, but discussions are currently underway for future work.
“We are already in the preliminary stages of planning our second facility, and there is no question who we will choose as a general contractor for our next project,” said Daniel McDonough, CEO of Texas Ford Aquatics. “Through every step of this project, A&P lived up to their reputation as one of the best contractors in Dallas.”
