Adolfson & Peterson Construction Announces Leadership Change
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) October 12, 2016 -- Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) announced Wednesday, October 5, 2016 the appointment of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Hansen to fill the role of CEO. Former CEO Rick Whitney has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.
Whitney has been CEO since 2014. Hansen has served as AP’s CFO since 2012 and has a distinguished career with AP.
Current AP Board of Director Members and third generation family shareholders Kirstin Adolfson and Grant Weicht expressed the Board’s full support of Hansen. “Jeff’s strong leadership abilities and understanding of our family culture gives us confidence in his ability to lead us through this transition,” said Adolfson. “During his time at AP, Jeff has proven his value to the organization and to the Board of Directors and we trust his leadership will continue to serve us well into the future,” added Weicht.
Hansen is assuming the combined role and responsibility of CEO and CFO until a new CEO is selected. The Board will conduct the process to choose Whitney's successor and will consider internal and external candidates for the job.
