Adolfson & Peterson Construction Tops Out New Charter Communications Campus at Village Center Station
Greenwood Village, Colo. (PRWEB) June 07, 2017 -- On a blustery spring morning at the soon-to-be new regional campus for Charter Communications, members and partners of the project team at Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) joined together for a topping-out party as a key pre-cast panel was lifted into place on the 389,000-sf parking garage. The topping-out of the 1220-car employee parking garage, along with the recently topped-out 12-story office tower, completes the shell of the 900,000-sf Village Center Station.
“This milestone represents the hard work of the project team at AP, the dedication and attention to detail of our subcontractor partners, and the vision of our partners at Davis Partnership and Burkett EUA. It is very special to see the impact we have made at Village Center Station over the past couple of years,” said AP Senior Project Manager Ryan Anderson. “This opportunity to work with Shea Properties, and to bring their vision for this property to life is something I take deep pride in.”
Spectrum Plaza is sandwiched between the recently completed 11-story CoBank Center on the north end of the property and the existing 9-story multi-tenant Village Center Station I building to the south end. AP completed the construction of the CoBank Center in December 2015. Located on the Arapahoe light rail stop, this final installment of the Village Center Station campus includes 18,000-sf of employee dining and conference center space, which will connect to the office tower by way of a sky bridge. Working with Davis Partnership Architects for the core and shell and Burkett EUA for the tenant improvements, the project is on schedule for initial occupancy in March of next year.
