ADSi Public Safety Software Announces Launch of Clinton PD Software Project
Clinton, MS (PRWEB) September 14, 2014 -- When Mike Warren was appointed as Chief of Police for the City of Clinton, Mississippi, in July 2013, he entered office with a thorough understanding of the needs of his department, having served within it since 1982 when he was initially employed by the City of Clinton as a part time Dispatcher. Between 1982 and 2013, Chief Warren moved from the Dispatch Center to Uniform Patrol, where he initially served as a patrol officer, then patrol Sergeant and patrol Lieutenant before being selected as Interim Chief, a position he filled until 2013. Based on his varied experience within the department, Chief Warren knew that an upgrade to their public safety software systems could enhance their ability to serve the citizens of Clinton.
“The Clinton Police Department and Clinton Municipal court had long operated on separate software systems. We made the decision about 18 months ago to look for a vendor that could provide a seamless operating system that integrated CAD, Police RMS and Court in an effort to reduce duplicated work and also provide a robust mobile dispatch and in-field reporting capability. After looking at a number of good companies with well-respected reputations in the industry, we decided on ADSi (http://www.e9.com). The ADSi product met or exceeded all our criteria and the staff bent over backwards to demonstrate the product, answer all our questions and have been extremely easy to work with. We look forward to a long lasting and productive relationship with ADSi.”

Of primary concern to Chief Warren was what he considers an ever-increasing need for seamless integration of the dataflow from the Dispatch Center, to the Officer on the street, to the Records Office, to the Court System. In selecting ADSi Public Safety Software as his preferred vendor, he selected a company who specializes in such seamless integration.
Soon, the City of Clinton, and the citizens thereof, will benefit from the stability and speed of ADSi’s CADForce4G, 4th generation Computer Aided Dispatch system, complemented by ADSi’s CAD Mapping application, the two of which work hand in hand to assist Dispatchers in getting help to those who need it in a timely manner. The system will be interfaced with the City’s E911 system allowing emergency caller information to be ported into the CAD, saving valuable time by eliminating the need for reentry. By deploying ADSi’s SMS Notification system, CAD Alert, those who need to be informed of what’s happening can be notified with the click of a button on most calls, and automatically when key incidents occur. And with ADSi’s CAD Batch Reporting capabilities, the Chief will be able to analyze important statistics to help manage department resources, plan tactically and strategically, and provide a layer of accountability within the agency.
The City has also purchased DataForce Web LE, ADSi’s state-of-the-art law enforcement records management system, which will interface to CADForce4G, further reducing the need for duplicate entry. Via DataForce, officers will be able to create, submit, and track incident reports, Supervisors will be able to approve reports, notify officers of items needing attention, and keep up with officer activity, training, and more. Investigative supervisors will be able to assign and track cases, and supervisors and investigators alike will be able to quickly assess the status of any case within the system, and analyze time spent working on those cases. Additionally, the Property & Evidence module will revolutionize and modernize the evidence room, providing tight controls on evidence handling and tracking items from the locker, to the crime lab, to the court room, to final disposition, and the ImageForce application will assist investigators in creating court-approved Mugshot lineups, and more.
Tying CADForce & DataForce together are ADSi’s sister applications MDTForce and Mobile WriteForce. The former will allow Dispatchers to send critical call information directly to the laptop in an officer’s vehicle, and vice versa, while the latter will increase officer presence in the field by allowing officers to create and submit incident reports from their patrol cars.
ADSi’s DataForce Court application will be the final stop for data generated within the Police Department, assisting officers in the process of adjudication, while streamlining for the court the process of records keeping, creation and maintenance of warrants, fine collection and more.
