By integrating with iHealth’s mobile health devices and solution, and incorporating the health vitals compiled from iHealth’s devices into APH’s data analytics engine, employers are able to reduce employee health costs, improve health outcomes and empower individuals to be hands-on managers of their own health.
iHealth’s software platform and devices make it easy for consumers to track their health vitals, including blood pressure monitoring, weight, glucose levels, activity levels and blood oxygen levels. The devices automatically sync the data to smartphones or tablets and the information is then uploaded into APH’s Poindexter, a data analytics risk engine custom-built for population health management, to provide a complete health picture for each individual. If an individual shows they are maintaining a chronic condition, this may result in lower health plan co-pays, deductibles or premiums.
