Advantage Engineers Mid-Atlantic projects in 2015 included a geotechnical investigation and laboratory testing services on a portion of a 300-acre former municipal landfill for redevelopment into a commercial retail center in Bellmawr, New Jersey. The firm continues to monitor spider magnets, settlement plates and surcharge piles and will provide a final engineering analysis and report to the client. Advantage completed due diligence and site characterization for an approximately 121-acre parcel located in Cranbury Township, New Jersey, which is slated for commercial development. Advantage has moved the site through New Jersey’s site remediation processes toward issuance of a Response Action Outcome. In Maryland, Advantage provided fiber optic engineering and permitting services for the extensions of the Inter-County Broadband Network in support of upgrades to existing telecommunications facilities in Columbia, Maryland. In addition, the firm completed construction plan drawings and as-built drawings for multiple related projects.
