Vienna, VA (PRWEB) July 21, 2014 -- WHAT: At a performance of the popular opera Carmen, Wolf Trap will undertake the first large-scale demonstration of new supertitle technology that allows audiences to follow the narrative of a performance from their mobile, tablet or Google Glass™. At the same performance, technology journalist and opera aficionado David Pogue will join the cast as an onstage “extra” outfitted in costume and Google Glass to give the Wolf Trap audience a first-of-its-kind perspective of the Filene Center stage.

Thousands will attend the performance at Wolf Trap’s 7,000-seat Filene Center, and several hundred are expected to choose to test the technology during the performance. A section of the lawn will be designated especially for those wearing Google Glass.
