Gilbert, Arizona (PRWEB) November 05, 2015 -- Aegis Electronic Group, Inc., a certified quality stocking camera distributor, previews the upcoming launch of two new Sony FCB Block Surveillance Cameras the FCB-EV7520 (30x zoom lens), and FCB-EV7320 (20x zoom lens). These state-of-the-art, Full High Definition (FHD) 1080/60p cameras are equipped with Sony’s advanced 1/2.8-type Exmor R CMOS sensor technology, and due to their unparalleled low light sensitivity, produce high quality imagery in the most challenging lighting conditions. Their rapid zoom processes make these cameras ideal for applications including security and surveillance work and any other applications that require a low light HD block configuration, thanks to their ability to capture specific details.
These cameras also inherit Sony’s legendary characteristic FCB series features; VISCA command protocol, Advanced Noise Reduction (NR), Auto ICR, Spherical Privacy Zone Masking, and Visibility Enhancement (VE). However, it is their enhanced Exmor R sensor with STARVIS (back-illuminated pixel) technology that allows for superior imaging and performance. These exceptional visibility features (uniquely intended for only surveillance cameras allow for true diversity in demanding applications. While front illuminated cameras do not clearly address an image, the FCB-EV7520 and FCB-EV7320 cameras achieve increased picture quality in both visible-light and near infrared light areas. Simple integration through a single cable carries HD video signals plus VISCA communication and power supply.
A comparison of Sony’s present FCB-EV7500 camera to the new FCB-EV7520, demonstrates the advancement in minimum illumination, both in 50% normal mode, and 50% high sensitivity. The EV7500’s minimum color illumination in 50% normal mode, is 1.4lux, and in 50% high sensitivity is 0.35lux, while the FCB-EV7520’s low light illumination in both normal and high sensitivity modes is 0.01 lux, displaying a greatly reduced need for light.
In surveillance applications, the Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) permits the cameras to filter strong back-light allowing features and shapes of the figures to be distinguished. Place these cameras inside a room with several windows (restaurants and stores), and the camera is able to see through strong sunshine or artificial light entering the room clearly. In a venue with bright/dark areas, or where the subject is in front of a bright window, the subject under surveillance can be seen in both bright and dark areas, thanks to these camera’s WDR different exposure techniques.
Picture quality due to changing lighting conditions can play havoc on cameras when security observation is for a continuous 24 hours. With their high sensitivity mode, these cameras function perfectly in lighting levels as low as 0.35 lux. Because of this low light sensitivity, the Auto ICR (Auto IR-cut Filter Removal) automatically changes from day to night mode, enhancing sensitivity and producing flawless pictures in near-darkness. Sensitivity for these two cameras has been extended from the visible light range, to include near-infrared range for night filming, vital for surveillance observation.
Sony continues to be on the cutting edge of the imaging industry with their consistent development of new and innovative cameras. Their lead in the field of high performance, FHD surveillance cameras continues, with the soon to be released FCB-EV7520 and FCB-EV7320 color block surveillance cameras, and will be available from Aegis Electronic Group, Inc. upon availability in the last quarter of 2015.
