AffordableCollegesOnline.org Ranks Top Online Colleges in Michigan for 2016-2017
Reno, Nev. (PRWEB) October 26, 2016 -- A leading resource of higher education and student information, AffordableCollegesOnline.org, has ranked the Best Online Colleges in Michigan for 2016. Measuring affordability and quality metrics reported by both two- and four-year schools around the state, the site lists more than 25 colleges and universities offering outstanding online education programs. Siena Heights University, Davenport University, Baker College, Eastern Michigan University and Northwood University Michigan finished in the top five for four-year schools, while Washtenaw Community College, Bay Mills Community College, Kirtland Community College, Henry Ford Community College and Glen Oaks Community College finished top five for two-year schools.

Schools must meet several standards requirements to earn a spot on the AffordableCollegesOnline.org list. Institutions must be fully accredited and hold public or private not-for-profit standing. To measure affordability, all colleges on the list must provide in-state tuition under $5,000 per year for two-year schools and under $25,000 per year for four-year schools to qualify. Each school is assigned a score and ranked based on analysis of over a dozen student metrics, including financial aid use, online program variety and more.
