Spartanburg, SC (PRWEB) June 16, 2015 -- AFL announces it has selected SpecPoint to support AFL’s market in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and Mississippi. SpecPoint will offer several AFL product lines including fiber optic cable, fiber management, outside plant equipment, fusion splicers, test and inspection equipment and Light Brigade® training and education.
SpecPoint was founded in July 2001 by managing partners David Kolodkin and Alan Crowe.
“SpecPoint is somewhat unique in the innovative ways we approach sales,” said Crowe, managing partner for SpecPoint. “Our office has a full size training room where we provide hands on education and use training opportunities to help integrators visualize how our products solve their customer problems.”
Before SpecPoint, Crowe and Kolodkin were among the top salespeople at CardKey Systems, a manufacturer and security integrator, which was later purchased by Johnson Controls in 1998 putting them in the Global 500 Company’s building division.
Crowe explains that, “Despite the diversity of our lines we are conscious of not spreading ourselves too thin and keep the number of lines below ten.”
