Houston, Texas (PRWEB) March 30, 2015 -- Wayne Murray, president of the Houston, Texas-headquartered WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties, has announced that agents from the firm’s professional REALTOR® team took home all six year-end awards as Weichert® South Texas Broker Council’s top performers. Altogether, 24 Houston-area agents earned various prestigious national awards during the Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. (WREA) annual event held in Austin, Texas, on March 21.
“We couldn’t be more proud,” said Murray, speaking for himself, co-owner Realtor Jackie Murray and the leadership team at locations in Houston, Katy, Sugar Land and The Woodlands. “2014 was a record-breaking year for us.”
In addition to announcing those taking top WREA sales associate awards among Weichert® franchises statewide, it was reported that WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties in Houston received its 10th WREA Ambassador Cup “award of excellence” for the year, one of only 31 such presentations made to an office system-wide in 2014 and the only one in Texas. Murray said further that the company has held fast to the no. 4 franchisee spot since joining the Weichert® network in 2004. WREA currently has some 250 affiliated offices in 37 states.
According to WREA standards, all awards are based on minimum requirements per award category in GCI (gross commission income) earned or units sold in a year. “Speaking for our company, the awards reflect more than sales figures,” Murray said. “Each award is a true ‘honor,’ further defined as ‘respect’ and ‘reputation,” earned for intense dedication to providing the best real estate service possible, always with the clients’ interests in mind and with unwavering integrity.” He added that, “while almost every Realtor’s promotional material will contain the words “dedication” and/or “commitment,” for us, those words translate into a way of life, and our reputation is proof.”
The five special honorees at year’s end were—from the top: Kendyl Maurer (Top Overall Associate), Lindsey Carroll-Kimble (Top Selling Associate in GCI), Raquel Williams (Top Selling Associate in Units), Sherry Glazener (Top Listing Associate in GCI and Top Listing Associate in Units), and Maria Garcia Puente, named “Rookie of the Year” for 2014, a coveted honor for anyone who is new to the field.
Maurer, who earned Top Overall Associate honors among Weichert agents in the entire Texas region, was a repeat performer as a President’s Club inductee. Carroll-Kimble, who had been named the 2013 “Rookie of the Year” and also earned Executive Club honors in 2013, moved up to President’s Club membership in 2014, joining Maurer and other 2014 President’s Club inductees Karen Archer, Susan Bolz, Sherry Glazener, Crystal Lucas and Cynthia Olivier. Lucas, Glazener and Bolz were also repeat performers at the President’s Club level.
Second from the top honors as 2014 Ambassador Club inductees were presented to Kathy Albright, Vicki Haislup, Ann Magoon, Kelley Talasek and Raquel Williams. Joining the Executive Club for 2014 were Maria Garcia Puente, Carla Hamm and Kim Newby.
The President’s, Ambassador and Executive Club awards are the three top categories of awards to agents presented annually, followed by the WREA 2014 Sales Achievement Award. Earning certificates for outstanding sales achievement from the Murray sales team were Abigail Davis, Steven Emery, Lenora Goff, Krystle Gonzalez, Yeni Gonzalez, Debny Greenlee, Kerry Harvey, Diane Morales and Elizabeth Thornton.
