AgFunder Announces Its First Live Crowdfunding Campaign for OnFarm, a Big Data Company for Farmers
New York, NEW YORK (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- AgFunder, an online equity crowdfunding platform for agriculture and agtech opportunities, is announcing today the launch of the AgFunder campaign for OnFarm, a Fresno, CA based big data agtech company. OnFarm’s campaign is the first to go live on AgFunder’s platform.

By providing information to farmers that allows them to precisely adjust inputs such as water or fertilizer to accommodate specific growing conditions, OnFarm generates both economic and environmental benefits.
OnFarm has to date established partnerships with over 20 data providers and anticipates healthy revenue growth in 2014. OnFarm is seeking to raise $400,000 through the AgFunder platform, to be used to expand OnFarm’s distributor network.
