AgIC Creates World's First Circuit Pen Eraser for Conductive Ink Drawings
Sunnyvale, CA and Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) November 18, 2014 -- AgIC Inc., creator of conductive ink markers and printer cartridges, launched a new Kickstarter project to make the world's first circuit pen eraser. This conductive ink pen eraser, when used together with AgIC’s Circuit Marker, will change the way users create and prototype electric circuits. Just like drawing with pencil and eraser, users can draw—and now edit—their electric circuits on photo paper using AgIC’s Circuit Marker and the new AgIC Circuit Eraser.
One of the most requested features from the customers is the ability to edit or fix the circuits they created. Existing conductive ink products that are commonly used by makers, STEM educators and students to design electric circuits cannot be easily edited. If a “short” circuit or design error needs to be fixed, the user will have to redraw the design from scratch. The new AgIC Circuit Eraser makes it possible to easily edit and make design changes, enabling “trial and error”—revolutionizing circuit prototyping and hands-on learning. “The AgIC Circuit Eraser is super convenient,” said an AgIC Circuit Eraser tester. “I can now edit my circuits on the fly, which is both time-saving and amazing to use.”
The AgIC solution consists of two pens: the AgIC Circuit Marker and the AgIC Circuit Eraser. The AgIC Circuit Marker writes silver conductive trace on photo paper and the AgIC Circuit Eraser erases the traces drawn by the circuit marker—easily and instantly. The AgIC Starter Kit on Kickstarter includes one AgIC Circuit Marker, one AgIC Circuit Eraser and components to make simple circuits for $25, with target delivery in March 2015.
