Agile Announces 12th Annual Agile on the Green
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 04, 2015 -- IT staffing firm Agile announced yesterday that registration is open for their annual golf charity event, Agile on the Green, which will be held at Topgolf Alpharetta on October 8, 2015 to benefit Susan G. Komen – Greater Atlanta Affiliate.
Agile on the Green was started in 2004 by Tricia Dempsey, an eleven-year breast cancer survivor and the CEO of Agile, an innovative IT staffing and consulting firm. Both professionally and personally, Tricia is known for her ability to connect people and give back. Agile on the Green brings together the IT and Breast Cancer communities to play Topgolf in a relaxed setting that fosters networking and fun!
Anyone can play Topgolf, from aspiring pros to those who've never walked 18 holes. All you have to do is swing a club and try to hit your micro chipped balls into dartboard like targets. Topgolf is hosted in a state-of-the-art venue in Alpharetta and allows for more networking and interaction – rain or shine. This year Agile is bringing back the VIP Team Sponsorship option which allows participants to play with Atlanta’s top IT executives.
It's competitive, it's fun and it's for a great cause – net proceeds from the event benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta. In 2013, over $1.9 million dollars were granted through Komen to the Atlanta community. These funds served over 96,000 people and included over 9,000 mammograms and clinical breast exams. Since its inception in 2004, Agile on the Green has raised over $270,000 for Susan G. Komen.
