AGNITY Expands its Customer Base with a Leading Telco in North America

(AGNITY), a global communication application solutions provider, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by a leading Telecom Service Provider in North America Region to replace its existing Telcordia IN SCP. AGNITY is partnering with its premier global OEM partner for this deployment. The service provider selected AGNITY because of its proven experience in replacing similar SCPs with other tier-1 and tier-2 operators around the world.
The Service provider offers over a dozen IN applications including Intelligent Call Routing, Multi-Location VPN, Single number Service and Caller ID on TV; all running on its Telcordia SCP. The SCP has reached its End-of-Life. The customer is burdened with high maintenance support fees and unable to offer any new enhanced services on this SCP. To make the situation worse, customer is now challenged with lack of in-house expertise and technical documentation to continue supporting this equipment.
AGNITY is deploying its industry-leading Communication Application Server (CAS) and Next Gen IN applications. AGNITY CAS is highly acclaimed to be a carrier-grade scalable, open standards based IMS-compliant multi-network multi-service software platform. It offers app components and open API that enable service providers to retire the existing SCPs, customize and introduce new services with faster time-to-market. CAS is deployed on COTS Servers or in virtualized geo-redundant architecture.
