Agoda.com Lays Out Red Carpet Deals for the Rome Film Festival

Controversial director Larry Clark (Kids, Marfa Girl) will preside over the International Jury of the CinemaXXI, while the jury for films in competition will be headed by James Gray (Little Odessa, The Yards and We Own the Night).
In competition are Spike Jonze’s Her starring Joaquin Phoenix, Out of the Furnace starring Christian Bale, Dallas Buyers Club starring Matthew McConaughey, and Another Me starring Sophie Turner, among others. The high-profile film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will also have its world premiere, 8 days before it opens in the US. In addition to these films, dozens more will be showing in various capacities, attended by celebrities from the world of film, television and fashion.
The prestige of the event is no doubt highlighted by the prestige of Rome itself. Nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome has served as a hub of art, culture, politics and food for thousands of years, and a few minutes’ walk is all it takes to end up surrounded by ancient monuments, soaring architectural marvels or iconic structures such as the Coliseum or Trevi Fountain.
