AI Leader Attends OSAC Forum in New York
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 -- In April, representatives from Andrews International (AI), an affiliate of U.S. Security Associates (USA), will be traveling to New York to attend the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) New York Forum. OSAC promotes security cooperation between the U.S. Department of State and American private sector companies that operate abroad. To better serve our many clients with overseas operations and concerns, AI is committed to taking advantage of the forum OSAC provides for sharing best practices and developing tools to cope with evolving challenges and security-related issues abroad.
John Keeney, Managing Director of Business Intelligence and Research for the C&I Division, will be attending the Forum and general membership meeting on April 21st. In his duties with AI, Keeney specializes in due diligence investigations, FCPA and Patriot Act compliance investigations, and business intelligence research. Keeney has managed, coordinated, and supervised investigations in over 120 countries on behalf of our clients in preparation of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other investment/business opportunities. Keeney is also involved in management of complex litigation support and financial fraud matters.
The OSAC New York Forum will feature presentations on The Health and Security Situation in Africa and Its Impact on the Private Sector, Cyber Threats, and Kidnapping and Ransom. Presenters include George Frederick from the U.S. Department of State; Amy Manson, President of Kari Corporation, and Robert Lady, President of R.L. International.

The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) was created under the Federal Advisory Committee Act to promote security cooperation between American private sector interests worldwide and the U.S. Department of State. The OSAC "Council" is comprised of 34 private and public-sector member organizations that represent specific industries or agencies operating abroad. The member organizations designate representatives to serve on the OSAC Council to provide direction and guidance to develop programs that most benefit the U.S. private sector overseas.
