AIMS Power Launches Three New Monster 48 Volt Inverter Chargers

This week AIMS Power is launching three new pure sine 48 volt inverter chargers. These new inverter products will be available in 8000, 10000 and 12000 watt models. The power does not stop there - these new units have all the bells and whistles. The units have a 20 second surge capability up to 300%, built in smart battery charger, clean pure sine power output and conformal coating on all components to protect from moisture and dust particles.
These inverters have the ability to output 120/240vac split phase, a feature that is hard to find in an affordable off-grid inverter system. Another big advantage of these three new inverter chargers is that they are built on the most reliable inverter platform available. These units all have heavy duty transformers, which make them tough and able to be counted on day after day.
There is a definite advantage in using a higher DC voltage on your off-grid battery bank; with a higher DC voltage you gain efficiency and have the ability to install larger solar panel arrays. The most commonly used dc voltage on larger battery banks is 48 volts – which can be easily built with 6 volt or 12 volt batteries. These 48 volt systems require a robust inverter charger, making these three new models from AIMS Power a perfect fit.

These inverters have a built in 50 amp transfer switch, that will automatically switch over to the fully charged battery bank when AC is unavailable.
