AIS Online Database Begins Tracking 2017 Premium Rates for Public Exchange Plans
Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 08, 2016 -- In advance of the upcoming public exchange open-enrollment period, Atlantic Information Services, Inc. (AIS) is pleased to announce that its Health Insurance Exchange Database (PBX) — an easy-to-use, continually updated interactive website with details of all health plans operating on state and federal exchanges — has uploaded premium rates for 16 insurers on four public exchanges. PBX, which is maintained by AIS’s independent research team, features current data on premium rates and participating carriers, as well as a newsfeed on exchange plans’ operating challenges.
As of Sept. 7, PBX has uploaded premium rates for Individual and SHOP plans for:
- Seven insurers participating in Connect for Health Colorado
- Two insurers participating in Access Health CT
- Six insurers participating in Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace
- Two insurers participating in Vermont Health Connect
Researchers will continue to upload final premium rates from other state-based exchanges and the federal exchange as they are announced.
AIS’s Health Insurance Exchange Database offers a convenient, user-friendly online search tool and downloadable spreadsheets to provide detailed premium rates data that can be easily ranked, averaged and sorted by rating area and age (where applicable), insurer, state, metal level and plan type. SHOP premiums are provided for all four quarters of the 2017 plan year.
