Akorbi Supports Fast Growth with Strategic New Hire
PLANO, Texas (PRWEB) April 26, 2014 -- Akorbi has hired Kent Taylor as Vice President of Operations to support the company’s fast growth, which has exceeded 200 percent in the last two years. In his new role, Kent will be responsible for a variety of key areas including: staff development, team and budget management, implementation of project management practices and new technologies, strategic growth of existing accounts, as well as process and workflow improvement – among many other things.
Kent is an accomplished leader and engineer with 30 years of experience in a variety of senior management roles, including forming new organizations from concept to start-up. He has worked with world-class companies, such as: L-3 Communications, Verizon, Level 3 Communications (formerly GTE Communications), MCI Communications, Vought Aircraft, Boeing and Johnson Controls.
Kent’s many accomplishments include: developing and implementing project governance processes to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery; developing Vendor Technical Management and Performance Tracking databases; developing standards for deployment strategy, engineering requirements and ordering information needed for product deployment; and, pioneering business processes.
Kent will work with Akorbi’s leadership team to ensure the company's continued growth and that its systems and operational infrastructure can support outstanding execution of services. Kent’s strong management skills, understanding of what it takes to scale a company, strong financial background, and ability to define and implement project management systems and processes, make him the ideal candidate for his new role.
