Alamo Capital Selected as Co-Manager on the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) Sales Tax Revenue Bonds
Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) September 20, 2015 -- Alamo Capital, a woman-owned Broker-Dealer, headquartered in Walnut Creek, CA has been selected by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) as a Co-Manager on their new issue of Sales Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 2015A. In November 2004, County voters approved current Measure J, a 25-year half-cent sales tax which began in April 2009, with 71% support.
The CCTA will be issuing a $166 million bond issue to help fund Measure J supported projects. The current Measure J sales tax is used to fund capital improvement projects such as BART’s East Contra Costa Rail Extension and the widening of State Route 4 East as well as county-wide capital and maintenance programs which include the maintenance of local streets, facilitating transportation for seniors and people with disabilities, and much more.
On September 24, 2015 Alamo Capital will be holding an informational seminar for its clients and the public to learn more about the upcoming bond sale and how their Measure J tax dollars are being put to use. Jerry Liang, Alamo Capital’s Vice President of Public Finance, will be moderating the event and attendees will have the opportunity to ask our special guests Randy Carlton, the Chief Financial Officer and Ross Chittenden, the Deputy Executive Director of Projects, from the CCTA any questions.
