Further tangling the web, Savannah’s husband, Charles, becomes involved in a paranoid search for an Iraqi smuggler, whom Charles wronged while serving a military tour in Afghanistan. The smuggler ultimately causes damage behind the scenes when a drug deal with another character goes sour.

About the Author
Alan White was born in Canada and raised in Northern Ireland. Following university he joined the Royal Air Force and flew fighter aircraft until he retired from old age. On retiring, he lived for nine years on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. He now lives in rural eastern England, writing for pleasure.
