Alcovit offers Asian Flush Syndrome relief
BOCA RATON, Fla. (PRWEB) October 24, 2017 -- Alcovit is known for its remarkable alcohol detox and hangover prevention capabilities. But one of its lesser-known qualities is its potential ability to help reduce and relieve the symptoms of Asian Flush Syndrome.
Asian Flush Syndrome, also known as Asian Glow or alcohol flush reaction, is a natural condition affecting up to 50 percent of people of Japanese, Korean and Chinese descent, according to Yale Scientific. It is commonly associated with the flushing of the face and neck, but also can result in symptoms such as heightened heart rate, headache and nausea after consuming just one beer.
“This is a worldwide issue for Asian people, and for Alcovit a great additional application,” Alcovit CEO Brett Mainon said. “We received some exciting feedback that Alcovit might be effective to minimize or even eliminate symptoms associated with Asian Flush.”
“I’m Asian and I get the Asian Flush whenever I drink anything alcoholic,” Tony told Mainon. “After taking Alcovit 30 minutes before my first drink, I had eight drinks at a party and I didn’t feel the effects of the flush or have a hangover at all. Highly recommended.”
ABC recently highlighted the issue plaguing so many Asian Americans and people of Asian descent around the world on the show “Fresh off the Boat,” which Huffington Post reporter Carla Herreria wrote “might the most Asian thing to happen on mainstream TV.”
On the show, an Asian minor takes his first sip of beer, only to have his face turn red. His father catches him and explains why his face became flushed through a flashback sequence to when he was in college and the same thing happened to him for the first time.
The problem occurs because of the lack of an enzyme within the liver to process alcohol, but that’s where Alcovit comes in. Alcovit is a German hangover prevention and detox drink that has a natural mineral silicate (volcanic rock) that binds to the toxins in your system, reducing the buildup of acetaldehyde that causes a hangover and potentially Asian flush.
“We would love to encourage the American public to give Alcovit a try, especially those who suffer from Asian Flush,” Mainon said. “We will officially launch in North America as our first shipment is due in Miami (Oct. 25) and limited free samples are available. Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages.”
