Aledyne Engineering and TSXperts Release New Product that Brings LabVIEW to the Maker Community
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) March 19, 2015 -- Aledyne Engineering, Inc. and TSXperts, LLC, leading LabVIEW solutions providers delivering forward-thinking products and services, today announced the release of an innovative new product to the LabVIEW Tools Network. The Arduino Compatible Compiler for LabVIEW bridges the gap between the Test and Measurements industry, LabVIEW and the Maker community. This product will take a LabVIEW program and compile and download it to Arduino™ compatible targets. The downloaded code will execute embedded and standalone on the Arduino target. This is very unique and an important step beyond existing products that only provide a way to have LabVIEW function as a simple user interface to a running sketch on an Arduino™ board.
This is a great way to leverage the graphical paradigm of LabVIEW to program simple standalone embedded systems on low-cost Arduino™ based hardware. It is also a great educational tool to teach embedded software programming to entry level students using graphical programming without the steep learning curve of the C++ programming language.
