Alegria & Barovick LLP Supports Hillside Food Outreach in Remembrance of 9/11
White Plains, NY (PRWEB) September 06, 2017 -- Attorney Andrew J. Barovick, Esq. and four legal assistants, including Rebecca Lesperance, Saray Berrios, Abigail Okuro and Zulima Munoz, will be joining efforts at Food Pack Night on Friday, September 8. The night will be dedicated to unpacking cartons and crates of food and filling grocery bags at the Hillside Food Outreach Warehouse at 1 American Lane in Greenwich, CT 06831. The food will then be delivered to needy and homebound families throughout Westchester County.
“9/11 was a disaster for our country, but the healing process afterwards brought many people from diverse backgrounds together to do good. Volunteering at Hillside Food Outreach is a great way to honor and re-create the positives that came out of 9/11, and it’s a good opportunity to give back to the community where we work,” said Barovick, co-founder of Alegria & Barovick LLP and long-time supporter of Hillside Food Outreach.
Hillside’s Food Pack Night kicks off a weekend of volunteer opportunities, community efforts, and local events as part of the 9/11 Serve + Remember campaign. Founded in 1993, Hillside Food Outreach has been delivering food on a monthly basis to housebound people living at or below the poverty line in Putnam and Westchester Counties, New York and in Western Connecticut. Currently, the organization delivers to 2,100 individuals every month.
