Aleratec Introduces New HDD Copy Cruiser IDE/SATA Duplicators and Sanitizers with Logging Capability
Chatsworth, California (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- Aleratec Inc., award-winning designer, developer and manufacturer of Portable Device Management (PDM) charge/sync products for mobile devices and professional-grade duplicators for hard disk drives, USB flash drives and Blu-ray/DVD/CD discs, announces four new members to its family of high-speed hard disk drive duplicators and sanitizers. The HDD Copy Cruiser IDE/SATA High-Speed WL series includes models to create from five to up to 24 SATA or IDE hard drive clones at a time, as well as sanitize from six to up to 25 hard disk drives at a time. In addition, all models in the series include computer-connected, real-time progress monitoring and logging that allow users to view and print records of the sanitization jobs.

Aleratec’s real-time logging and monitoring functions let users view, record and print out processes executed, model names, serial numbers of drives, speed and capacity. Sanitization is reliably executed with features such as Secure Erase, or users can also choose from a 1-Pass overwrite, 3-Pass overwrite with Verify and a third-party certified, forensically unrecoverable DoD 7-Pass overwrite sanitization function.
For duplication, HDD Copy Cruiser IDE/SATA High-Speed WL models produce sector-by-sector copies from a single source hard disk, including partition and boot sector information, and LED indicator lights confirm successful completion of each hard disk drive. All models in the series support 3.5-inch IDE hard disk drives/SSDs, 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA hard disk drives/SSDs as well as 2.5-inch IDE hard disk drives/SSDs with optional adapters, not included.
